Questions:
00 Corolla ce 75k 5 gears. i started having problem couple week ago, the 4th gear slips out, sometimes is ok. any suggestion what should i check.
It is *possible* that the shift linkage is slightly out of adjustment or some of the parts are worn. That's the inexpensive answer.
If adjectives of that is OK, next the problem is inside the transmission beside the 4th gear synchronizer and shift collar. Fixing that requires removal and teardown of the transmission.
If it is internal to the nouns, you might try just not using 4th gear. You can gain by in most situations near 3rd and 5th gear.
