DVD players

Questions: How do I know whether to buy DVD-R or DVD+R to record on a Pioneer VHS-DVD recorder? I merely can't seem to bring back the difference through my head.

If a recorder is competent to record on +R (called plus R) and -R (called fly R), you should see no difference. The two formats exist largely because two competing consortiums developed them. Answers: I think +R or +RW finances you can re-record over and over on the same DVD and of late R means you can just record once. However, I'm not the best human being to be answering this because I bought a DVD recorder in August and havn't manage to work it yet!

to be honest beside you you need to know the compatibility for your dvd recorder the booklet should tell you if you can use dvd-r or dvd+r or both. As far as what the answer the other party gave you generate sure when choosing r or rw which is writable and re-writable; meaning one is to copy on with the sole purpose and the other you can copy on and copy over, make sure the describe brand is compatible with your mark brand dvd player. I know this because i've just not long installed one to my dvd player and all signature brand blank dvd's was not compatible beside my device.
