I think 25K is unlikely. Child support is supposed to be just that, support; food, clothing, shelter, college funds. The mother is truly greedy.
Child support is usually base on your income or wealth. If you're paying $25k/mo, you must brand name or have a crap nouns of money.
There should be some sort of regulation for child support, so that singular the child gets the money. Since the father contained by this story is 50 cent, who's worth a heck of a lot, it's not a impossible thing that the kid can bring back money from his dad. The problem is I doubt the kid even see's much of that, other than what his mother may spend it on.

Good Grief. That is ridiculous, My dad merely had to money $250 a month, for 2 kids, and still never payed. I'd hate to be you if you ever get behind. What is the custody arrangement? If you spend profusely of time with the child, I'd agree to the judge something like lowering the payments. Heck, even if I didn't spend much time with the child I'd settle to the judge.
She should gain a job.
And my ex threw a fit over $110 per week for two kids (that I never got within the last 14 years, by the way).
